Michael Hettinger
Registered Patent Attorney
Michael is the founding partner of Hettinger & Hettinger, P.C. After nearly 20 years of civil and criminal litigation, Michael now focuses on intellectual property law. Michael handles both patent and trademark issues. His patent practice encompasses biotech, chemical and mechanical technologies.
Michael is one of the most educated attorneys practicing law in Michigan. He has earned well over 400 college credits and is well educated in nearly every area of science. Michael qualified to take the patent exam as both a biologist and chemist. He has completed the majority of science courses required for a Ph.D. Michael earned his doctorate in law from Notre Dame. He also holds degrees in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy and Philosophy. He is a Registered Nurse and a Respiratory Therapist.
