Michael Hettinger
Michael is the founding partner of
Hettinger & Hettinger, P.C., He is licensed to practice in all Michigan
courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan,
and in the United States Tax Court.
Michael is a frequent lecturer in the areas
of estate and tax planning. His primary areas of practice
include civil litigation, criminal defense, workers comp.,
personal injury and healthcare provider licensure.
Along with being an attorney, Michael is also a Registered Nurse, licensed
to practice nursing in the State of Michigan; and a Registered Respiratory
Therapist, admitted to practice in all fifty states.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael worked for several health care
institutions where he concentrated in critical care. He obtained certification
through several specialized educational programs including Advanced Cardiac
Life Support.
Michael is married to Karen J. Hettinger. They have two sons, Michael
Alan Hettinger II and Benjamin Franklin Hettinger, and one daughter, Emma
Christine Hettinger.
